The Center for Research Facilities was established on October 1, 2014, to strengthen school’s research competence and production of biomedical research results as “Research-Oriented University” along with opening of CHA BIO COMPLEX in Pangyo.

Currently, the Center for Research Facilities consists of cooperative instrument room that operates high-tech and expensive instruments (Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope, FACS, LCM, etc.), tissue cell analysis room that analyzes changes in cells and tissues and the expression of specific proteins, and radioisotope room that supports analysis of radioisotope experiments. The center also works with professional analysts to provide more specialized analysis support services.

In addition, the center supports research efficiently through systematic management of research facilities and instrument to enhance the convenience of researcher. It also provides regular academic training for researcher and establishes various research infrastrutures to boost utilization of research.

To maximize the research efficiency and strengthen the research competitiveness, the center continuously arranges essential facilities and cooperates with schools, groups, and bio-industrial complex to become an integrated research support institute that can be utilized as a joint industry-university-institute center that contributes to community and national development.
